Lunch at Long Beach

22 Jun 2008 morning he suddenly said want go to East Coast Park eat seafood...hmm...he want to invite Beh to join together so he use my phone to sms Beh but Beh can't join bcoz she said she at library and need to study so we can't force her bcoz i know that she will tk exam soon. So we just continue our plan without her n take taxi go to East Coast Park...

We order set menu for 2 persons -> S$98++ (1 Sri Lanka black pepper crab around, 1 BBQ fish, 4 pcs homemake beancurd, fried Malay Mee with prawn and dessert). After a while, the supervisor come n told us that we need add more money bcoz they don't has the crab which is around 1.2KG so just has 1.4KG then we need to add more S$18...hmm...so he said he want to eat so just add, but my thinking is we order is set menu n at the menu didn't mention how many KG the crab so if they don't have then they should add for us without count the money...but he said nevermind la! bcoz he said he come here is want to eat crab..

hmm...actually all the dish no bad, very nice..but we ate crab until want to give up bcoz too big...2 persons eat really can't finished it...so no choice, we just tapao the fried malay mee for our dinner. So, today our lunch n dinner spent around S$137(he pay, hehe!)..after that we just walk to beach n tk a rest, i really too full until can't walk already...so again, tk taxi go back home bcoz really feel sleepy already.

Tinola Soup - Modify by me...

Tinola dish actually is one of the Philippine foods. But because we stay at Singapore n just rent a room, so most of the place is no convenient for us to cook use oil so i just modify this dish to soup. But this type of dish is no suitable for ppl rush of time to cook because Chayote need to take at least 20mins to boil until it get soft. Why I post this dish because I had told Huei Sei that I will post how to cook this dish for her if she feel want to eat chicken.

Ingredients:

• Chicken (normally i use breast part without skin because no so oily but this time i use other part because can't get the part i want at wet market so look a little oily);

• Chayote (佛手瓜) (cut into 4 pcs 1^st then cut into slices, thickness around 1.5cm);

• 1 Onion (cut to 6 slices);

• Garlic (2 slices);

• Ginger;

• ½ tbsp Salt (u can put less a little);

• Soya Source + Dark Soya Source (黑浆油 from Malaysia because Singapore one is more sweets);

• Water

Steps:

1) Put the Soya Source and Dark Soya Source into Chicken then set aside.

2) Put water into stockpot then boil it…Once boiling then put the Onion, Garlic, Ginger and Salt. Then let it boil for 5mins.

3) After that, put the chicken then let it boil (remember don’t put the extra source into the soup)

4) Afterward put the Chayote then let it boil until the Chayote become soft then serve it.

5) Normally I will serve with Fish Source + 1 small lime

Singapore Zoo - World Blood Donor Day 2008

14 Jun 2008 - Beh and me each had get 2 free entrance tickets to Singapore Zoo. 1 day b4 we had agree to meet at CCK mrt control station there on 8.30am then took bus 927 to go Singapore Zoo. But very pai sei to Beh, i late so morning faster sms Beh and ask her don't come out 1st and wait for my sms. So, after i prepared everything done then i just sms Beh and we reach CCK mrt control station is around 8.45am. Around 9.15am we just reach Singapore Zoo. After reach there sure is faster go n q n get the entrance ticket, 2nd is faster get our camera then took photos, 3rd is go n tk breakfast then after that we start walk walk around and took photos (hmm...although i had bring my own camera but the memory card inside my camera just 128mb, forgot to bring extra memory card so i just can took 60pcs photos only..sien!). Lunch time lo! i very hungry already so we want to take our lunch at KFC but when we c the q only, hai....give up...we just go outside eat lo! but b4 we go back, we had q for took photo with 'Blood Buddy' bcoz we had free souvenir photo. yes! after 20mins we got our free photo...hmm...quanlity is no so good but nevermind, is free!!haha!
